Who doesn’t enjoy a time-lapse video? I make mine using my old Nikon D7000 just because the shutter count is massive at 1500 shots for every minute of footage. 16 megapixels is way more than you need for these types of videos. A 1080p video is only around 2 megapixels, so any camera with an intervalometer can do them.

    Drive-Lapse

    This was my first attempt at making a time lapse video from the car.. It was good fun making it, but a bit annoying being limited to 999 files with the internal intervalometer on the D7000. I’ve since bought a cheap external one, which allows for infinite photos for continuity
